Oral Diseases-Stomatology

Our professional work and experience in Stomatology give us the expertise to offer you the quality care which you deserve as special patients. We will listen to you carefully in order to understand your individual and personal oral medical needs. We will work together to best treat your stomatological problem and maintain your oral health.

We can successfully diagnose and effectively manage the stomatological diseases of the oral mucosa, of the gums (gingivae), of the tongue, and of the jaw bones. We are specialized for the oral diseases that develop in the mouth and jaws.

Our three-year post-graduate education in the USA in the histopathological and clinical diagnosis of oral diseases, that develop as primary lesions, has enable us to recognize with accuracy the cause of red or white plaques, painful ulcers, blisters, cysts, tumors, bad taste, bad breath, burning sensations. Our clinical and laboratory research on the pathobiology and presentation of herpes and the honorary award from the European Association of Oral Medicine, in Sweden, 2000, have given us the necessary knowledge to early and accurately diagnose the different forms of potential herpetic infection in your mouth.

Collaboration with Medical Associations

Our good collaboration with the Hellenic Society of Medical Mycology which includes our six-year service in the Board, with active participation and continuous information in the field of fungal infections and our collaboration with the Hellenic Society for the Study and Treatment of AIDS can guarantee our special contribution to the correct diagnosis and management of your oral problems, especially in the emerging field of those infections.

Collaboration with Hospitals

Our service, from the responsible position of the Head of the Clinic of Hospital Dentistry has given us the great opportunity of a close collaboration with the Hospitals, mainly of Athens, in order to offer to you, with accuracy, an early diagnosis of the oral signs and symptoms, which will initiate the diagnosis of an underlying systemic disease. As an example, a red tongue may denote anemia due to a bleeding gut.

We will also significantly help you if you develop mTOR inhibitor-related stomatitis.
